very simple recipe. very easy. and tasty. :)
i just ate the tofu over rice and added some toasted almonds.
the next day when i had it for leftovers i poured coconut milk on top.
next time i make this sesame baked tofu, i want to add some veggies to it or something.
or a sauce (like the coconut milk).
1 block x-firm tofu
1 tbsp (15 ml) sesame oil
2 tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
1/4 tsp (1.2 ml) cracked pepper
cut tofu into 1/2" cubes.
toss with remaining ingredients, spread on an oiled baking sheet and baked at 350F for 15 minutes.
i added twice as much of the sauce/marinade as i was supposed to because i like lots of sauce. but. i think it made it a bit salty, so maybe i would so 1.5x instead of 2x the sauce next time, or something.
i saw someone make a picture collage like this in another food community so i thought i would give it a try. ;D
