Pineapple Barbeque Tempeh

I veganized this from a recipe my old roommate used to make. I think I've finally perfected it.

1/3 cup barbeque sauce (I like Annie's smokey maple bbq sauce)
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar (I use florida crystals)
1 tbsp canola or vegetable oil
2 tbsp all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
8 oz. package of tempeh steamed and cubed
20 oz. can of pineapple chunks drained (14 oz. of actual pineapple)
1 tsp. ground ginger

In large saucepan, combine the first 6 ingredients until smooth
Bring to a boil
Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes, stirring frequently
Add tempeh, pineapple, and ginger and stir
Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until pineapple is heated through
Serve over rice
