Super smoothie

I just got a lovely new super blender (600 watts) for the sole purpose of making some power smoothies. I thought I'd share one I just made. It's good for a mid afternoon snack or breakfast. Feel free to add whatever, 3/4 of a cup of cooked instant oatmeal provides a good amount of fiber. Don't worry, you can barely taste it (plus oatmeal is good anyway!)

Strawberry power smoothie

Ingredients

- 1 cup of low-fat soy yogurt, vanilla
- 1 cup of low-fat soy milk, flavored or unflavored
- 1 tablespoon of all natural creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup of strawberries, frozen
- 1/2 tablespoon of soy protein powder
- 6 ice cubes

Instructions:

- Pour everything into the blender.
- Blend that sucker.

Makes 2 servings

Fat: 6 1/2 g
Saturated fat: 2 g
Carbs: 26 g
Protein: 8 1/2 g
Fiber: 4 g
