Roasted Green Beans With Slivered Almonds

This is a cavalier take on a recipe from The Mediterranean Vegan Kitchen by Donna Klein:

1lb green beans, topped and tailed
1/8 c. lemon juice
1/8 c. olive oil
Handful or so slivered almonds

Heat oven to 375F-ish.
Put beans in large bowl and pour liquid over them
Mix well until beans are covered
Put the lot in a roasting pan/cast iron skillet
Put in the oven for 20 minutes
Take out of the oven and throw in slivered almonds, mixing well
Put in oven for a further 20 minutes
Eat
Also good cold.
