Orange/Almond/Rum/(Wheat/)Oat Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

1/2-2/3 cup sugar or other sweetener
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup orange juice concentrate
1/3 cup raisins soaked in cheap brandy or rum
2 tablespoons oil if you like
1 cup whole wheat flour or oats if preferred
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 cup slivered almonds

Enough oatmeal to bring this soup back to cookie-batter consistency. You could just use less water or all oats in the first place.

DIRECTIONS:


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare a cookie sheet however you like to, but I suggest some kind of grease.

2. Mix in all but the last ingredient in order listed, then fix the consistency if called for.

3. Drop by the teaspoon onto a cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes.
