Vegan Pizza Primavera
This isn't much different for your basic veggie supreme pizza but it's got a cooler Italian-sounding name.
Prep time: 15 min; Total time: 30 min
* 1 pizza crust
* 1/2 c. marinara sauce
* Your choice of the following vegetables:
o Zucchini, sliced
o Tomato, sliced
o Artichoke hearts
o Onions, chopped
o Garlic, minced
o Bell peppers, chopped
o Sundried tomatoes
o Broccoli florets
o Mushrooms (button, cremini, or portobello)
o Green onions, chopped (green and white parts)
o Fresh herbs (oregano, basil, etc)
Any pizza tastes best if it is made with a pizza stone. If you have one, place it on the bottom of your oven (or on the bottom rack if the bottom has coils) and heat it to 450 F for 15 minutes. During this time, assemble your pizza.
Begin with your crust. I make my own crust so at this stage it is still raw dough - you may need to adjust your recipe accordingly if you use a ready-made crust (the package should have instructions).
Spread a thick layer of marinara on the pizza.
Once the pizza crust is coated thickly with marinara, slice or chop your veggies and lay them and your herbs on top.
Bake on the pizza stone for 12-15 minutes at 450 F.
