Ingredients (I wont specify quantities because I was cooking for one and I just worked it out as I went along)
I don't know if this stock is available globally, but I just want to point out its existence anyway:
I use it in pretty much all of my cooking and makes everything that little bit tastier (and probably more nutritious). It is worth noting, however, that the plain vegetable stock of the same brand contains milk products, whereas this garlic and vegetable one does not. Go figure.
Anyway, I heated some of this stock in a pan while I cut up a small zuchinni and boiled a kettle for the gnocchi (at some point I filled a small pot with the boiling water, added the gnocchi and cooked it with the lid off until each piece of gnocchi floated the the surface, but you probably already know that). I left the zuchinni broiling for a while at a high heat while I diced a lentil and vegetable burger. When I added the burger in it kind of absorbed the stock to take on a mince-like consistency. Next I cut up some tofu (I used garlic marinated but I guess you could use any kind or even leave it out) and added it to the mix, along with a generous handful of pine nuts. Next I added my gnocchi and some pasta sauces.
That is the gnocchi, pasta sauces and pine nuts. Note that plain tomato flavour Dolmio pasta sauce contains CHICKEN EXTRACTS. It's crazy how companies manage to throw in the most random unnecessary animal products out of the blue. Anyway, Extra Garlic and Tomato and Spinach are fine.
Cooking :))) It is not burning I swear! That is steam not smoke; I was just letting the remaining liquid stock evaporate. ANYWAY
Garnish with soy cheese and enjoy! :)
edit: DAMMIT, it seems I checked the ingredients of everything except the gnocchi itself. BE AWARE: gnocchi often contains egg. Lame.
