Vegan mud cake?

I'm trying to veganise this recipe.

I think I'm okay with the actual cake - I'll use soy buttermilk and the flour-oil-baking-powder-water egg substitute (fingers crossed it'll work in huge quantities like that, if you've got a better suggestion let me know) but I really have no idea how to make the icing. I don't think you can buy soy cream in Australia... would silken tofu be really weird?

Advice would be much appreciated. :)
