Apple struesel pie

1) 3/4 c sugar
2) 3tbsp flour
3) 1/4 tsp salt
4) 1 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/8th tsp nutmeg or that amount of apple pie spice
5) 5-7 apples
6) 1 unbaked 10 inch deep dish pastry shell

struesel topping
7) 1 c flour
8) 1/2 c sugar
9) 1/2 c margarine cut into pieces

mix mix 1-4 then add apples and let it stand for 15-30 minutes

make struesel : use a pastry cutter (I prefer hands) and cut the margarine with the sugar and flour until crumbly

put the apple mixture in the the pie shell and top with struesel

bake at 375 f for 50-55 minutes
if you like your apples super soft, go for 15 more minutes with a sheet of foil over it

I'm not sure, but I believe I adapted the recipe from Southern Living Magazine cookbook or something?
I'm not too good at writing recipes from my own shorthand, but I tried to make it as clear as possible.

Fried tofu

half block of frozen and defrosted extra firm tofu, cut into bite size pieces ( you can marinate it to make it more flavorful, but i prefer it plain)
1/4-1/2 c corn starch
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 c ketchup
1/4 c brown sugar
hot sauce to taste (I like the one in the picture)
salt and pepper to taste
(these are approximate, I always wing my recipe, but while making the sauce make sure the sauce tastes ok to you and adjust accordingly)

you can add some orange zest to make it "orange chicken" style, but I don't really like it

1) defrost and dry the tofu, make sure it's dry enough to not be dripping
2) mix tofu and corn starch in a baggie or bowl to coat
3) deep fry at high until golden brown (usually 15-20 minutes)
4) mix the rest to make the sauce in a pan at medium he at, and adjust to taste
5) after the tofu is done, let the oil drip and just stir it in the sauce
