I followed it exactly, and it tastes more like spicy tomato sauce with chickpeas mixed in as opposed to authentic chana masala! Any ideas where I may have went wrong? Would anyone know of a better recipe to follow? I've been craving Indian food incessantly as of late, so I'm rather saddened by my results. :(
I've been cooking for years but trying to cook Indian dishes is completely new to me.
