i need a fast and not too dificult recipe for vanilla frosting. i searched the FAQ but i couldn't find anything.

I'm about to make some icing for my carrot cake, and just realized that I have no raw cashews as specified in the recipe. Do you think that blanched almonds would be an ok substitute? The recipe is for a tofu icing (from How It All Vegan. Thank you! :)
i have never in my life used truffle oil, until today. i'm about to. it is white truffle oil. i have this worry that it is going to be bad (as in off/spoiled) and i won't know it because i have no idea what it is supposed to taste like.
so, what is it supposed to taste like?
