stir-fry?

I want to make a really amazing stir-fry for dinner tonight, and I know someone here can help my accomplish this. :) I think I'm going to put onions, garlic, carrots, bok choi (or maybe napa cabbage), broccoli, and anything else you might suggest in it. What I really need is a good sauce to cook it all in. Teriyaki-type sauces, spicy sauces, peanut sauces, any that you think would be tasty. I'd like to make my own, but if you know of a good vegan bottled variety, that would be great too.

(no subject)

so i want to make a 2 layer chocolate cake with like peanut butter frosting or something in between the two layers. any ideas on how to go about making the peanut butter frosting?

Peach Cobbler!!!

My mom is the greatest. She made this for me tonight:

Here's how she made it:

You'll need:

1/3 cup vegan margarine

1 cup of self-rising flour

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of soymilk

a big can of peaches in syrup

a 9'' x 13'' (or something close) baking pan

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place margarine in pan and put in oven to melt. While margarine is melting, whisk self-rising flour, sugar, and soymilk together until blended well. When margarine has melted, remove pan from the oven, add the batter to the center of the pan, and add contents of the large can of peaches on top of that. Return to oven and bake for 30 minutes until golden. Eat warm!

I'm pretty sure this would be amazing with some tofutti or soy delicious ice cream on top. Enjoy!!!

When blackberries are in season, I'll send the recipe for mom's blackberry cobbler and lemon sauce. yum, yum.
