Kale with Pine Nuts and Raisins

This one has been a consistent crowd-pleaser when cooked right. Like other cooked-greens recipes, it can be a little finicky about getting the greens to cook right, getting tender & delicious rather than tough and bitter. Tonight's came out wonderfully well.

This recipe is from Lorna Sass' Complete Vegetarian Kitchen, one of my cookbook bibles. It happens to be completely vegan.
