Taken from one of my old vegetarian cookbooks ("Meals Without Meat" by Simon & Alison Holst). It's rich, and nice for something a bit different. It goes very well with brown rice. My mum loves this and is always requesting it when I offer to cook for all of us. :)
I'm really eager to attempt some tofu "chicken" nuggets, but can't seem to find a recipe that doesn't call for a vegan mayo substitute. Is there anything else I can use? I guess it's just to stick the crumbs to the tofu bits right? Or is it an essential item for flavour?
Diced fresh mango Diced avocado (I like it with about twice as much mango as avocado) Small squeeze fresh lime or lemon Tiny pinch salt Tiny pinch freshly grated ginger Tiny drizzle neutrally flavored oil (optional)
Toss everything together and devour as is or use as a salsa on burgers, burritos, or with salad rolls.
mmm i just had thai food for the first time. it was awesome. i had mixed veggies in a tomatoe chili sauce and veggie spring rolls with a sweet sauce but i dont know what kind. so my question is, is that stuff vegan? and if not, how can i convert the recipies to become vegan from home?
