A while back someone made a post or a comment about the Hidden Valley Ranch Fat Free dry mix being vegan. Is this correct? If so, that's outstanding because I just found a load of it at my grocery store and I'm a former ranch addict. And do you just add water, or soy milk? Thanks for any help!
Im wondering if anyone has a recipe for Raweo's? Ive been looking everywhere for it, and I cant seem to find one. It is considered a "raw" food.
I'm looking for a great savory stir-fry sauce recipe. Preferably something I could make up in a semi-large quantity and keep in the fridge to just pour on when needed. In an effort to eat more vegetables and protein I'm going to try eating more stir-fries. I have a big Costco jug of Mr. Yoshida sauce but it's too sweet and doesn't cook down very well. I prefer a more dry stir fry and that sauce just carmelizes instead. Plus, I prefer savory over sweet. I checked the memories and didn't find too much. I really appreciate it.
I looked through the memories and couldn't find anything like this, but if I missed it, feel free to point me in the right direction and delete this. :)
I've never tried ready made Vegan Parmesan, I've made my own and it was ok, but it didn't taste much like parmesan. I was thinking about ordering a couple, but since I'm in Canada it'll have to be from online, so I'm asking anyone who has tried either Soymage Vegan Parmesan or Parma Raw Parmesan Cheese Alternative, did you like them?
Which did you prefer?
Thank you in advance! :)
Um, I need the Classic Pita recipe from The Garden of Vegan... does anyone have it? My ex has my copy. :(
Before I say anything else: I have looked in the FAQs, got a few ideas, but I'm looking for more romantic-ish picnic foods.
Friday is my boyfriend and I's 6-month anniversary. I'm planning a picnic by the lake behind my house at night with candles and what-not. I was thinking finger sandwiches, sparkling grape juice, some kind of fruit, and some kind of cake. Maybe cupcakes? I don't know. Some kind of finger dessert. Or not, since it's just behind my house and I could bring eating utensils.
And now for my questions!
What kind of sandwiches could I make? I'd like for the filling to be anti-bad breath, if that's at all possible. : )
And, also.. any dessert ideas? I was thinking some kind of chocolate cake with cherries and choc. chips on top. But.. I'm always open to suggestions!
Thanks in advance.
