Naan?

Does anyone have a good tried-and-true naan recipe? I didn't find anything in the memories and my Google search came up pretty dry. I'm having some people over tomorrow night for dinner and I'm making something Indian-esque, so I'd like to make some naan to go along with it. Any advice is uber-appreciated!

experimental wheat bread: SO GOOD!

I baked a loaf of whole wheat bread last night. I was in an odd mood so I added cinnamon, a little extra sugar and a bit of cocoa and it came out really, really well!

Put in bread machine first:
1.5 cups of warm water
3 tablespoons oil (olive)
2 tablespoons molasses

Mix in bowl before adding to liquid ingredients:
4 cups of whole wheat flour
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 heaping tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 heaping teaspoon cinnamon

This morning I made cheezy toast with the bread, Follow Your Heart vegan mozzarella and a splash of balsamic vinegar. MMMMM!

Today is my friend thestepbeneath's birthday! So I made her cookies. She doesn't know yet, but now you do! (and hey, if you are so inclined, go wish her a happy birthday!)

Double chocolate cookies with cashews.

1c all purpose flour
1/2c unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 stick vegan margerinen
1 1/2c sugar
2 egg substitutes (I used apple sauce)
1tsp vanilla (I used 1 1/2)
a few handfulls of vegan chocolate chips
a few handfulls of cashews

mix up all your stuff. I like to cream the sugar and margerine then add the vanilla and apple sauce, then sift in the cocoa powder and small ingredients (you don't have to sift, but I like to) and then incorporate the flour. when thats a nice dough, add your chocolate chips and cashews.

plop down on a baking sheet and bake at 325 for about fifteen minutes. they set up a bit firmer than you'll think, so you can slightly undercook them and they will be good.

these things are amazing.

edited to add:
they are adapted (veganized and added cashews) from the June 2005 Martha Stewart Living magazine.

Ok, well I've been hunting through the memories for quite some time now, but nothing is really grabbing me.
It's my boyfriend's birthday tomorrow and I want to make him the best birthday cake ever in the world ever. So basically I'm looking for the best vegan cake you've ever ever had. I made the raspberry blackout cake the other week (from the memories) and it was amazing. So I'm guessing I need to top that.

Sorry to be all asky and stuff. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't super super important xxxx
