High Octane Tempeh

I threw this together tonight after getting home from work. The sauce is really the star. It would be really good with tofu, snow peas, carrots, asparagus, heck potatoes even. Anything really. I just used what I had within the least walking distance in the kitchen. ;]

Sichuan Style Asparagus

I am craving the PF Chang's asparagus dish. Does anybody have a similar recipe? Also, where can I buy the Sichuan preserved vegetables - is it a specific style of preserving vegetables. Here's some info I go off their website.


SICHUAN STYLE ASPARAGUS
Stir-fried with Sichuan preserved vegetables.

Ingredients:
Asparagus, chili paste, cornstarch, garlic, ginger sesame oil, Sichuan preserved vegetables, vegetarian oyster base*, yellow onions

Good Earth Cereal

I haven't tried this recipe yet, but it sounds so good that I thought I would share. :)




Good Earth Cereal

1 3/4 c. quick oats
3/4 c. oat bran
1/4 c. whole grain ("old fashioned") cornmeal
1/4 c. wheat germ
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped almonds
1 Tbsp. oil (optional)
3 oz. unsweetened frozen apple juice concentrate
1 1/2 tsp. molasses
1/2 tsp. vanilla
