Perfect Hot Cocoa

Often hot cocoa mixes have trans-fats. Make your own (sans the trans-fat) and you'll never miss the mix.

The Basics
Unsweetened cocoa powder
Sugar
A pinch of salt
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Soy milk

The Extras
Cinnamon
Cayenne Pepper
Amaretto
Cointreau
Creme de Menthe

Start with cocoa and sugar. I use Rapunzel cocoa. Just follow the instructions on the cocoa for quantities. Add about a pinch of salt, a splash of vanilla, and 2 tbsp soy milk. Stick it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Then stir it until everything is dissolved. Fill the mug with soy milk, add any extras to make your cocoa exciting, and finish heating it.
