Gado Gado

I am addicted to this Indonesian place in my town. I don't think I'll be able to figure out the recipe for green papaya and Indonesian stink beans in a candlenut curry sauce (hell, I won't even be able to find the ingredients) but my other favorite, Gado Gado, was easy peasy lemon squeezy to make.

I took several shortcuts and came up with a recipe that takes just 10 minutes. The best thing is you can make it with just about any vegetables, so if you are exhausted and starving, you'll probably have all of the necessary ingredients around the house.

Hi all. I just recently joined this group. I am very allergic to all dairy and am looking for vegetable protein to add to my diet. I am specifically looking for breakfast foods. I would especially like to know if there is anything I could add to my oatmeal (my favorite breakfast) to boost its protein levels. Do you have any suggestions for me?

I'd like to use tofu in replacement, but do you guys think that seitan would be better?

Should I marinate the tofu in something first? Any ideas what?
