Reheating beans and rice without a microwave.

This may be the dumbest question, but...

I want to reheat my fava beans and rice from the fridge, do I have to add oil to
reheat it on the stove? or can I just reheat it with a little bit of water.


I'm not using the microave because of the radiation/nutirents being diminished
(very paranoid)

So...is it safe to reheat with just water in a pan?

chana daal

i have some chana daal that i want to cook tonight. every website i've looked at reccomends soaking it over night. is there a faster alternative? also, i am pretty sure that yellow lentils are *not* the same thing as chana daal which is actually closer to the chickpea, correct?
