chewy, chunky, gooey chocolate chip cookies?

hey ladies and gents,

I have decided to make some chocolate chip cookies on my day off today, with the idea of giving some to my coworker (omni, but I want to eat some too!) for her birthday. I did check the memories (duh) but I am looking for a certain type of chocolate chip cookie recipe. In particular, I would like to replicate the chocolate chip cookie I find in the Wild Oats Market bakery, the ones I drive 45 minutes (one-way) to get. There is a Whole Foods Market five minutes away, but these cookies are sooo much better.
What I like about them is that they are soft, especially in the middle; they don't spread out very much so they look lumpy and thick; they are dense and chewy with a batter around that chips that is not like the cakey ones that often turn out when I make cookies. It's a little hard to explain, but maybe someone knows what I'm talking about.
All I know is that I don't want some cookie that spreads out a lot, looks smooth and perfect, and is thin as a pancake. I could alter a recipe if I just knew how to get this effect - anyone?!

Thanks for your help!

Pulp recipes, particularly carrot.

Hey everyone!

In the past couple of weeks I have been juicing regularly. The byproduct is lots of beautiful pulp! I'm curious if anyone has pulp recipes. I tend to have a lot of carrot pulp in particular, so I would really appreciate recipes for muffin, cake, soups, bread, cookies, or anything else that could use this up.

If you juice other fruits or vegetables and use the pulp, I would love to hear those recipes as well.

Thanks in advance. ^_^
