veganrella pizza

i'm out of town this week (and in new orleans, yay!) and had to resort to buying veganrella in mozzarella flavor for a pizza my host wants to make for me. it smells good, but tastes like beer hangover plus slices of butter. the beer hangover might just be from too many beers last night, but in any event i definitely don't want butter on my pizza. as if that weren't enough, the texture is like crumbly wax. so what the hell do i do with this crap? does it get any better melted? does it melt at all, and if so, how? does nooch improve it?

help my pizza! i want it to be edible AND shareable.

Rosewater overload in cupcakes

I made the rosewater cupcakes from VCTOTW, and they were just awful. Maybe I just don't care for for rosewater, but they were very perfumey to me. I erred on the side of caution and only used 1 Tbsp (the recipe said 1-2 Tbsp). I got the stuff at a cake and candy supply store, so there's no reason for it to have been a non-kitchen safe kind.

Do you think I just don't dig rosewater, or should I give them a try with less rosewater? Blech. It was like drinking perfume.
