Thousand Island Dressing

I love salads (lettuce, cucumber, celery, etc), and my favorite salad dressing is thousand island. I've never liked the store-bought bottled vegan versions, but I just found the most awesome recipe for one!

1 cup vegan mayonnaise
1/3 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
dash salt
3 Tablespoons sweet pickle relish

Mix all ingredients well.

It is SO much like regular thousand island dressing. It has that great tang to it. If I made it again I might go *very* slightly lighter on the ketchup. Delicious!

Seaweed recipes?

My iron is low and I'm trying to add seaweed to my diet, but I'm a little stumped on how.

I just collected a bunch of sushi recipes but that will be special-occasion food. I have nori sprinkles that I mix with all of my stir-fries but I don't know where else to use them. I also have a couple of bags of dried kombu and wakame that I have no idea what to do with (outside of miso soup). Ideas?

Broccoli recipes!

My local grocer was selling broccoli stupidly cheaply today when I went shopping, so I bought quite a lot of it...and then discovered a distinct lack of broccoli recipes in any of my cookbooks! I'd like to do something interesting with it, does anyone have any suggestions?
The only thing I don't really want to make is soup, because I just made 2 big pans of soup to freeze and take to work for lunch (cauliflower & almond soup, and carrot, lentil & coconut soup) and I don't want to end up with tons of lunches and nothing to eat at home!
