Japanese konnyaku

My dad bought some Japanese Konnyaku slabs back from Japan recently and I'm not quite sure what to do with them. They're pretty much shirataki noodles in block form... but I've never made shirataki noodles either.

Recipes? Ideas? i've read that it's good grilled with miso, but my mom can't eat anything soy so that's out of the question.

Blueberry Pie

Thank you all for helping me out with the questions I've posted over the last semester. Time to give back a little.
I've made this blueberry pie twice now and it's awesome. The recipe is originally from here, but I will post it below the fold as well.
I used frozen blueberries from last years farmers market- a mix of conventionally-grown and wild-picked. Wild blueberries are by far the best!
