Am making some Christmas presents this year. I've made some gingerbread dough, cranberry chutney, and mincemeat (if you want any recipes I'll post them) and I'm after a good recipe for chocolate truffles, or any kid of chocolates that you've has success with.

I want to make a really creamy and rich pasta sauce but I'm not quite getting there. I've made a good few tastey ones but nothing that was properly rich & creamy. Though I'm not sure I'd know how to make a creamy pasta sauce even non-vegan so that might be half my problem. I've only ever had a good one in a restaurant or out a jar.

I've played around with soy based white sauces and cashews/cashew ricotta and vegan parmesan (don't ask my what it's made of but it's the closest I can get to nutritional yeast). I was wondering if anyone has a recipe? Or a suggestion of another ingredient to play around with which might help?
