Risotto

Has anyone had success making risotto with a long-grain brown rice instead of arborio? I have in the pantry jasmin, long-grain brown, and a short-grain sticky Japanese brown rice (I also have barley, which I *think* I've heard of as a possible risotto grain). Any suggestions for which would bind the best with a mushroom and lemony risotto (without going to the store)? Thanks for the help and suggestions!
