Please click this link and review the community rules to refresh your memory.
The reasons most entries are rejected are related to rules 1, 2, and 3.
1) Please check the memories and tags before posting a recipe request.
It only takes a minute, but it's worth it. You can use the Google/LJSeek search feature in the userinfo to search quickly, the tags are all along the sidebar, and there is a memories link at the top of the page. If you still don't find what you're looking for, you can mention that in your post, link to recipes you do or don't like and clarify what you are looking for. Remember, most of the recipes posted in this community are "tried and true".
2) Use a descriptive subject line
non-descriptive subject line=help me!!!!
descriptive subject line=help me figure out how to make polenta
This is the most common reason for posts being rejected. LJSeek and Google may not archive the post if there is no subject line. It also makes it much easier to find a recipe later on, as when searching from month to month.
3)Cross-posting to other vegan communities is not allowed.
It dilutes the usefulness of having a vegancooking community if you post the same post to 50 other vegan communities. If it's most appropriate here, just post it here. If you really want to post to the 49 other communities, then do so, but please don't post it here.
When we reject a post, we try to outline the reasons why a post is rejected and make suggestions for imporvement. You are encouraged to resubmit rejected posts with the suggested changes or clarifications made. If your submissions are consistently adhering to the rules, you are taken off of moderation. If you feel you have been on moderation longer than necessary, let us know and we will look into it.
Thank you for your time. As always, if you have a question, please feel free to post to vc_moderators
