I searched the community for food non-vegans would like, but only four entries came up, and they didn't look like something he would eat. They seemed randomly marked. Anyway, that was no help, so here's my situation.
I'm staying at my boyfriend's place for the next two weeks (who tries everything I make/eat, but rarely likes any of it), so I was thinking it would be the perfect opportunity to try out some vegan foods on him, and hopefully find some things that he will like. I'm looking for some good recipes that he might like for dinner.
He is a meat muncher, and he was raised on meat, meat, and more meat. Basically his parents fed him hamburgers every night. He isn't usually fond of a lot of flavors all at once. The only other safe bet besides meat is pasta. As far as vegetables go he likes potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, and green beans. He's alright with peas, broccoli, and these cooked carrots in apricot glaze that I make. I want to try to open his tastebuds up to different kinds of vegetables, because I'm worried that he doesn't eat enough of them. He eats salad sometimes, but not often. He likes fruit. Basically, since we talk about ending up together all of the time, and I don't want meat in my fridge if I can aviod it (although obviously I will love him no matter what, either way), we want to find vegan foods that he will (hopefully) like.
