Cul Tech Woes and Blackforest Cake

Greetings all, it turns out this wensday in cul tech our class will be baking black forest cake, which is awesome.. until I took a look at the recipe.
I'm at a lost for how to replace the eggs in this seemingly complicated cake making process.
The recipie also calls for Heavy Whipping Cream.. I don't even know what that is, let alone how to replace it.
Any vegan black forest cake experts out there???

Here is the full list of ingredients for the recipe our teacher provided:
1C Flour
1C sugar
1/3C Cocoa
3/4 Tsp Baking powder
1/2 Tsp Baking soda
1/4 Tsp Salt
2 Eggs
1/2C Milk
****************************(This list of ingredients is seperated from the rest.. again no idea why)**********
1/4C oil
1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1 Can pitted sour cherries
1/2C sugar
1/8C cornstarch
1/2tsp vanilla
1 1/2 C Heavy whipping cream
1/6C (is this a real measurement?) Confectioner's sugar

Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks in advance!
