I know you're not supposed to cook with or heat up flax seed oil because it kills the nutrients or whatever. But does the same thing happen with ground flax seeds? There are tons of baked goods that contain flax seeds, and I've always wondered why because I wasn't sure about all this.
(Also, I saw the post about flax seeds in the tags, but there were just too many big words and chemical whatevers thrown around and I didn't feel like taking the time to understand what it was saying. I just want a simple answer.)
