1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1 cup vegan marg of choice
1 cup raisins
1 cup vegan milk of choice
mix flour, sugar, baking powder and margarine to a crumbly consistency.
stir in raisins
blend in milk gently (makes a thick paste)
drop by spoonful onto baking sheet.
bake at 375 F for about 20 min.
Makes about two dozen scones.
Best shared with friends over tea.
