Oh, sure! it would be lovely to get some silken tofu, give it a whiz in the blender and dump it in a pie crust. Sure would. But I've run into a problem.
When I eat too much soy I get awful migraines and my body completely feels out of whack. I'm not sure if it's an allergy, but I can't tolerate it and sustain myself on it. I'm trying to figure out new ways to incorporate other food and proteins in my dishes before I just say fuck it and go back to eggs.
So, my question to you all, how could I make a soy-free quiche or custard? A recipe would be delightful, but it would be equally appreciated being pointed in the right direction.
