It's ridiculously cheap, simple, filling, and raw. (Think Dietary-Minimalist Style).
Excellent for breakfast or that mid-afternoon energy slouch.
2 Bananas, medium-large size
Chop and freeze the fruit for at least a few hours.
Blend with 1 cup of water; add more if needed.
Substitutions for fruit probably work great. Consider this a base recipe.
I haven't experimented too much with other fruits because I haven't been able to make it to Farmer's Market. Prices are stupid high elsewhere.
I've definitely made some nasty smoothies, though, (usually in attempts to DIY a green smoothie) and this one slaughters the competition.
