What to do with fresh berries?

I'm missing angel food cake and merengue-shells and whipped cream really badly right now. 

I have lots of fresh berries, and I'm looking for more light, exciting dessert ideas that will help shore up my belief that being vegan doesn't have to mean giving up great food.

Here's the sorbet I made last week:

5 cups washed, hulled strawberries
simple syrup made by boiling 1 cup organic raw sugar and 1 cup water, chilled.
juice of one lemon
1 tablespoon Grand Marnier or Triple Sec

Process the berries in a food processor to a chunky puree, mix ingredients and combine in a ice cream maker.
