Both mixes have basically different varieties of these:
sweet brown rice, brown rice, whole grain Wehani rice and whole grain Black Japonica rice.
There is a recipe on the back of one of the bags that I may try (minus the nuts), but I would like some help in finding different ways to fix them, with different seasonings.
1 cup countrywild rice
1 Tbs butter (obviously changing that)
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp finely grated orange peel
1/4 cup black olives sliced
1/4 cup brazil nuts choped
in separate bowl, mix together the butter, chili powder, garlic powder, brown sugar, salt and orange rind
pour this mixture into the hot rice and mix lightly
fold in the olives & nuts.
