Vegan Cream Cheese Frosting

For the past couple hours I've been attempting to make delicious pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I've figured out the cupcake part (woo!), but I've made cream cheese soup rather than frosting (boo!). How can I thicken this up? I suppose I can use it as a drizzle if I have to, but I was really looking forward to frosting. Help?

If this helps...I used this recipe:
2 cup tofutti cream cheese
.5 c soy milk
4 TB Earth Balance
1.5 c powdered sugar
