So, I want to make the Caesar dressing in Veganomicon, but I've got a question about the almonds in the recipe. It calls for blanched almonds...but I've got a big bag of regular sliced ones and I'd prefer not to have to buy more if I don't need to. Will it make a big difference in the dressing if I use the regular ones?
I made the dressing with the regular almonds and it is great. Thanks for the advice!
