tempeh and marinade

I definitely just made some of the best tempeh... ever. By complete fluke. Really, it was the marinade:

a generous dollop of hoi-sin mixed with some ginger, curry, cumin, and just enough water to cover the tempeh

Then I let it marinate for about an hour (I bet overnight would have been AMAZING) before frying it up and devouring it. So simple, so satisfying.
