When all you've got are a few ingredients and you're tired like carnists trying to deny their bigotry.
1/4-1/2 cup coconut oil (solid.)
1/3-1/2 cup turbinado
1/3-1/2 cup brown sugar
2-4 tbsps canola oil
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/2-1 cup water
Pinch of salt (less than 1 tsp.)
Pinch of baking powder
However much rye flour it takes to make it dough-like.
Combine and cream the coconut oil and sugars (brown, turbinado). After they've been made fluffy, add the canola oil and vanilla and mix everything together. Add the water and mix, then the baking soda, salt and flour in batches - don't mix it in all at once.
Bake until they're soft only on the top (i.e. not squooshy), take out and let cool; this'll allow them to set.
