I had surgery on Thursday to get a lap-band placed around my stomach. For the next three weeks, I'm on clear liquids and protein shakes. The week after I'm on pureed food. And the week after I can go back to solid food sans bread, tortillas, pancakes and pasta.
I found a soy high protein powder at Whole Foods (24g/serving) so I have that covered, but is there any type of broth I can make that will also allow me to get extra protein in? I'm finding it hard to get 4 of these shakes down a day and my nutritionist put my protein goal at 90g. Everything also needs to be low fat and low/no sugar.
Any help is REALLY appreciated.
