I'm going to have a weekend when I can't prepare food in any way which would produce a foody/cooking/baking/etc. smell (don't ask) and I'll be needing to prepare at least some of the dishes, for 8 diners.
So I thought - raw food!
I've got two salad ideas, but what else? I'm on an extremely tight budget and vegetables (not fruits, don't ask...) are cheap and so are core cereals (wheat, barley, canned corn etc.). I need dishes which won't take more than around half a day to make and from the simplest ingredients.
