black bean dip
1 15oz can of black beans(do not drain)
1 15.5 oz can garbanzo beans(drained)
3 cloves of garlic, peeled
1 large shallot, peeled and quartered
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon braggs liquid aminos
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
place beans in processor and pulse to mix. add garlic shallot and bell pepper, pulse. add remaining ingredients and process till chunky. cover and refrigerate for several hours.
i didnt follow the recipe exactly, i skipped the garlic shallot and bell pepper. i threw in a little cooked millet. abd i added a small can of green salsa and some regular salsa. i made a double batch because i bought a 30 oz can of beans, so i had like 2 24 oz jars filled left over when we were done eating. sooooo good.
