Also, to imitate deep fried tofu at chinese and thai restaurants, I have come across a recipe using silken tofu (as seen here: http://recipes.offline.org.uk/index.php?action=getrecipe&id=15) Anyone have any experience frying tofu as so?
What type of oil should I generally use for deep frying?
