Okay, quick! Vinegar question!

Right now, I am making tiramisu. The cake part calls for vinegar (as many cakes do). I am out of the "seasoned rice vinegar" it calls for. Should I use white vinegar or apple cider vinegar? Or does it really not matter at all? Any quick answers?! Thanks!


EDIT: Thanks, guys! I thought I should use white, but then I thought I remembered using apple cider vinegar in a cake recipe before, so I was all confused. I think apple cider vinegar can be used, but...
