vegan cheeses.

i find that my vegan cheeses (earth island mozarella, tofutti cream cheese, vegan cheddar slices) go bad much more quickly than regular old cheese used to. so the question is: might freezing them help? or will that completely alter the texture, as happens with tofu? will it ruin their deliciousness?
